Connect an AI assistant

Let Claude, Claude Code or another MCP client read your analytics.

The Loomduct MCP server lets AI assistants read your analytics. Ask questions like "Where did my visitors come from last week?" and the assistant looks up the answer in your projects. It can only read; it cannot change anything.

Before you start

A Loomduct account in an organization with at least one project.
An AI assistant that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in.

Connect

The server address is:

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http loomduct https://api.loomduct.com/mcp

Then run /mcp in Claude Code and select loomduct to sign in.

Claude

On Pro and Max plans, open Customize → Connectors, select + Add, then Add custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner adds it in Organization settings → Connectors. Name it Loomduct, paste the server address, and sign in when Claude asks. See Anthropic's guide: Get started with custom connectors.

Other clients

Add a remote MCP server with the address above. Choose the Streamable HTTP transport if your client asks. The client opens a Loomduct sign-in page when it first connects.

Allow access

When you connect, Loomduct asks you to sign in and shows Connect with Loomduct MCP:

Under Select organization, pick the organization the assistant may read. One connection covers one organization.
Check that the address under "You will be redirected to the following location" belongs to your assistant, and tick I recognize and trust this URL.
Select Continue.

The assistant can then read traffic, pages and sources, events and their properties, and visitors and their activity, for all projects in that organization.

What the assistant can do

`get_traffic`	Visitors, visits, page views and more over time, with comparison.
`get_breakdown`	Top pages, sources, countries, devices or events.
`list_events`	Lists events, with filters.
`get_event`	Shows one event.
`list_visitors`	Lists visitors, newest first or by visits, page views or time on site.
`get_visitor`	Shows one visitor with their activity and top pages.

Lists return at most 100 rows at a time. An assistant can make up to 100 tool calls per minute for you in one organization.

Disconnect

In Settings, under Account, select Connected apps. Open the menu on the app's row and select Disconnect. The app loses access right away. Removing a member from an organization also disconnects their apps there.
