Find a visitor

The Visitors page lists the visitors of the period you pick, newest first. Open one to see everything they did.

Find a visitor

• Pick All, Identified or Anonymous to show only users you identified, or only anonymous visitors.
• Type in Search by ID to find a user by your user id, or an anonymous visitor by its id.

The list shows each visitor's ID, Type, Country, Referrer, First seen and Last seen. For identified users, the ID is your user id.

You can also open a visitor from the Events page: select the visitor in an event.

What the visitor page shows

The left side sums up the visitor:

• The name: the user's name property, their user id, or Anonymous visitor.
• Online now, or when they were last seen. Identified users also show how many devices they used.
• Activity: their events over the last 6 months. Select a day to jump to it.
• Engagement: first visit, time on site, visits, pages per visit, and, after 3 visits, when they usually come back.
• Top pages, their Most recent visit and their First visit, with the referrer and campaign that brought them.
• Properties you sent with identify().

The right side is a timeline of their visits, newest first. Each visit says where it came from and how long it lasted. Expand a page view to see the time on page and scroll depth, or a custom event to see its properties.
